For some reason I once again drew a card for Gene's boat. Vic
pulled me off to the side and asked if I would trade boats for
the day so he could fish with his special cousin Gene. Of course
I said yes, I know they have a "special" bond. |

Why later that night Vic & Gene beat Pat
& Brad at 10's, it is like they spent the day mastering their
signals to each other. Around the fire that night Nick made us
all very happy when he agreed to be silent for 5 whole minutes.
Whew, it was tough on him…We also learned that Andy &
Tequila are not a good combination. Pat was offering shots to
everyone as they got off their boats, and Andy was happy to knock
a few back. It wasn't long after that Andy was sitting on Pat's
knee! I heard that tequila brings out a person's natural personality…
Pat got so nervous he asked Geo to hold his hand so Andy would
realize he was spoken for. |
Another fine meal as it was Steak night, with
all the trimmings. I never come home from these trips without
gaining a few pounds, but it is worth every ounce. And to top
the evening off, the Oilers won in overtime!
