It was inevitable, time to break camp and
head back to reality. Gene Vic and were at the road by 9:32.
We made the 170 km to Pinehouse on freshly graded road, it was
nice but dusty.

Gene cleaned up at Smear money. It is fun
to beat Pat for money, but really it is more fun to beat him
for nothing. I managed to lose all week at Smear, but the other
fellows didn't seem to mind the donation. Pat didn't like playing
Smear because he has to play on his own; he likes tens because
he has a partner to carry him. Pat was getting desperate, and
started telling Brad how to play.
Tim must have rigged the boat draw so Gene & Rich ended up
together each day. As much as we like each other, when you spend
24/7 together you tend to hear the same stories over and over
and over…
Nick tested Greg's anger management sessions all week, glad to
see you restrained yourself Greg! Guys joke the most about those
they like. Nick was the most liked guy at camp.
Everybody might not like Vic, but everyone respects his grey
hair. My folks taught me to respect my elders, and Vic is definitely
the most elder among us.
